“A woman is like a tea bag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
But the battle isn’t over, ladies — you’ve only just begun to show your strength. Beauty, poise and hard work has gotten you this far and I’m sure you understand what an honor it is to be chosen one of only 12 women to have been featured as Twitter background wallpaper each month @SoapyJohnson for the past year.
Winning will require cunning, savvy and a coordinated social media strategy but victory will be rewarded, just ask previous winners Sandra Taylor, Emma K and the above pictured Emily Sears. These three truly remarkable women have shared the taste that only success can offer, they have steeped in the boiling tea cup and come out refreshed.
And what better vessel to drink that soothing hot beverage than a genuine limited-edition Place it on Lucky Dan coffee mug? Yes, that’s what these 12 magnificent ladies are fighting for.
“What’s the big deal? It’s just a freaking coffee cup.”
Sure, you say that because you’ve never had one and probably never will. At no time in the past or future, on no occasion — not ever — available for sale. The rarity is unmatched, and why this prize is so highly coveted (although for a limited time, you can get yours here and here). Only a select few have laid their hands on one, check out the group of proud members here.
So which lovely lady will take home the 2015 cup?
It’s up to you. VOTE BELOW. Click on each name to view their custom page.
WARNING: If you don’t vote, March’s Hope Beel and December’s Paige Hathaway can and will kick your ass. These two fitness champions won’t ask you twice and, trust us, you don’t want them to have to. That also goes for fitness instructor Haley Jade Poston, Miss October and June’s Laci Kay Somers, a model and personal trainer. If they tell you to vote, don’t hesitate to follow their instruction.
Defending champion Emily Sears (August) and fellow Aussie Alexandra Lillian (November) have an army of social media supporters, which they must now enlist. They’ll need it, considering September’s Donnah Pham, July’s Stephanie Rao, April’s Madzilla, February’s Valeria Orsini, January’s Monica Alvarez and May’s Krystle Lina have a combined 5.5 million Instagram followers. Of course, George Paxman from Columbus, Ohio follows all of them, so don’t focus on the math — it’s still a gargantuan number.
Who’ll reign supreme and be crowned 2015 crème de la crème de la Soapy? You decide.
Cast your vote, then proudly tell your girl that you voted for her — spread the word on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook or just tell the person next to you, they’ll appreciate it. Remember that you live in a country where voting for seriously hot women is your civic duty, don’t deny how crucial this is as a timepiece for future generations. They’re depending on you.
VOTE ONCE PER DAY. Voting ends Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11:59 pm ET.
