Plans are in the works next spring to assemble the 20,000 women Wilt Chamberlain is alleged to have had sex with, gathering them together in the same room for the first time in order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Wilt’s single-game scoring record of 100 points.
The Philadelphia 76ers have formally petitioned the National Basketball Association for permission to schedule a home game on March 2, 2012, a half century from the day Chamberlain achieved the elusive triple figure. A 76ers press release plans “an evening to celebrate a record which still stands today as well as a lot of points scored in a single NBA game.”
While playing for the hometown Philadelphia Warriors, Chamberlain put up 100 points against the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962, however legend claims the majority of his scoring was done on the road.
Organizers don’t expect all 20,000 women to attend and concede that some, like Chamberlain himself, are now deceased. It may also prove difficult concentrating all 20,000 into a city, let alone one building.
The “century mark” was recently approached when Kobe Bryant scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006, in Los Angeles. At press time, the total number of women Bryant had slept with was not known and calls to the Lakers were rudely cut short.
Using the same “points scored/women penetrated” ratio, it’s likely that Bryant has had sex with 16,200 women, however this would also mean that wife Vanessa would now have 16,119 eight-carat purple diamond rings worth approximately $644 billion dollars.
Tickets will be free for any of Wilt’s alleged conquests, in the usual style of first-come, first-served. Event organizers will hold an open call (up to a limit of 20,000 women) and no proof will be demanded, much like Chamberlain’s biography.
